AUMA Actuators Limited is committed to the fast-track delivery of its solutions that enables supply chain partners and end-users to respond quickly to exceptional project demands.

A major UK water company is investing £2.5m to improve river quality by reducing the number of overflows at a major wastewater treatment plant, which will help significantly reduce the levels of Phosphorus entering the water network.

“AUMA’s fast-track service can be applied to any product from its comprehensive UK stock of actuators, consisting of configurations that are commonly required across the industry. This included two types of actuators that met the water company’s specifications and the needs of the job.”
T-T Flow

The project required the fast-track supply of a number of AUMA’s electric actuators to T-T Flow - a leading expert in the design and manufacture of engineered waterworks valves and ancillary equipment.

What we delivered
Working in close partnership with T-T Flow, AUMA was able to configure and supply a range of electric actuators to match the exact specifications for the water company’s project requirements.

AUMA’s fast-track service provides a critical advantage for projects with demanding timelines, offering industry-standard actuators with expedited delivery times.

The valves specified for the project by T-T- Flow included a DN80 Aquavault® resilient seat gate valve and two eccentric plug valves (DN80 and DN150). AUMA’s team quickly identified compatible actuators available as part of its fast-track delivery service.

Within just four days of receiving the order, AUMA supplied one SA Multi-Turn Actuator for the resilient seat gate valve, plus two SQ Quarter- Turn Actuators for the eccentric plug valves.

Each electric actuator was equipped with AUMA’s advanced AC actuator controls. The controls feature self-adapting functions, along with time-stamped data-logging capabilities for continuous valve performance analysis. This precision-engineered solution allowed T-T Flow’s engineers to pre-program the actuators with required torque settings, test functionality, and ensure seamless integration into the valves.

AUMA’s commitment to comprehensive testing and quality control ensured each actuator was ready for immediate installation, avoiding any potential delays once on-site.

Our customers say
“T-T Flow’s robust stock of valves, coupled with AUMA’s fast-track actuator service, provided the speed and security the water company needed to meet environmental targets and ensure uninterrupted service to the public. In a sector where every minute counts, having dependable partners who can deliver at speed can make all the difference in meeting the ever-evolving challenges of water and wastewater management.”

Through AUMA’s rapid-response capabilities and extensive actuator stock, T-T Flow was able to meet the water company’s tight project deadline without compromising on quality or reliability.

The collaboration with T-T Flow and the application of AUMA’s fast-track service demonstrated the value of an agile approach, enabling the water company to continue to deliver on its investment in improving the environmental impact of its wastewater operations.
